I have been planning to move to Spain and commute back to operate from the UK for some time. I know the basic rules re tax.

I have decided to take the plunge so ......Does anyone have any experience of doing this? I'm really looking for a decent tax consultant who won't charge me a brazo and a pierna.

Love to hear from anyone who is actually doing this.

Thanks chaps.

Check with your local tax office.
It is rumoured that there was an Inland Revenue investigation into several BA pilots alegedly falsely claiming that their second overseas home was their work base. So as of 2007 I understand that anyone working and living in Europe will have to nominate a Country where to pay direct income tax. Make the most of the tax advantage now!
