EK ID ticket travel

Can friends fly on EK ID tickets or is it only open to family & spouce :confused:

Hard enough getting a seat as is so thank goodness our staff travel entitlement is only for family.

Free/reduced seats for friends = less profit share.

Real friends don't have any expectations, yes it would be nice but it's not on my list of "must haves".

Interesting though that Etihad offer a couple of tickets per year for "Anyone".

Plus i think it is reasonable that if you don't have parents or siblings then you should be able to use that entitlement for others

ekwife, I totally agree. Both my parents are dead, my in-laws can't fly due to medical problems but my sister-in-law's husband is not allowed to use the tickets...doesn't seem very fair.
As ususal the small print takes the fun out of the perks..
