A Panorama of Mars from Larry's Lookout (http://antwrp.gsfc.nasa.gov/apod/ap050517.html).

This (http://antwrp.gsfc.nasa.gov/apod/ap050322.html) picture is awesome.

Hey - Larry's Lookout is tremendous - what a fantastic achievement that those rovers are still going strong. APOD's one of my favourite sites.

But that second picture - WOW ! I think it sums up exactly how and why I got involved in aviation eleven years ago. Always wanted to be in space . . . I wanted to be that guy.

Well they didn't pick me for the space program, so flying helicopters is the nearest I'm going to get. And it's a damned good Next Best Thing. As soon as I leave the ground, I feel like the guy in that photograph. Well... almost.

Thanks Nani ! :ok:

Bl00dy hell, that looks just like southern Iraq, except without the oil pollution and burnt out T-55s (although you can see some tracks). Larry's lookout? Safwan Hill more like.

I have just heard from my friend Marvin, and he informs me that's the view from Clogluggity's Lookout and he wants to know who Larry is. :p

Awesome pics Nani.
