Global Spirit Airlines, set up by a Pakistani immigrant and beginning operations to Islamamabd form Manchester in June are also planning to start Damascus and Jeddah in the near future, they use 747-200 at present in three class configuration, http://www.gsairlines.com/index.htm

Wish them the best of luck, but this airline has had to postpone their services several times and I doubt they'll ever take off...maybe I'm just a skeptic.

As for the route network, I can see Islamabad working out considering the large Pakistani community in Manchester and North West. Jeddah could be a success but they might 'do' a BMI....As for DAM, I can't see a big enough market to support 742 flights especially with RB already operating a 2x weekly flights on the route.

never say never, if fares are compatible from what i saw in the webpage it looks just the best thing for muslim pakistanis....
competition is the things these days, if the service is better than rb i can see it picking up!
