Just a thought, having read the papers the other day on the passengers that entered newcastle airport i think it was the other week and nobody to check the pax passports, i came through bristol airport a couple of weeks ago and again, no one what so ever checking passports, every one just walked through !, anyone else noticed this ?

Quite possibly the pax manifest was 'faxed' or emailed ahead and Immigration had no problems with it?

if by "international" you mean the Rep of Ireland they are within the UK-Ireland free travel area. If you mean Europe or further afield there should have been a check shouldn't there?

Yup ..... flying regurlarily between Dusseldorf and The Island , One is always checked by Immigration - Schengen and all that . No problem .

October last year I flew from PHL via MAN to BHD ...and saw NOT ONE CUSTOMS or IMMIGRATION person.I was personally amazed,I had my passport out ready to be checked ....nothing!.

makes you wonder why people hide under Eurostar or sneak into containers eh?
