View Full Version : Emma Wray?

Sorry to anybody not "in the loop" - but this is (I think) mainly a British question - and absolutely nothing to do with flying - so perfect for JetBlast.

I've just been watching a programme on BBC America ("Linda Green") which starred the actress, Lisa Tarbuck. Watching the credits at the end I noticed it was made by Granada Television for Meridian.

An odd sequence of thoughts reminded me of another Granada/Lisa Tarbuck programme from years gone by - a Liverpool based sitcom, called "Watching".

That reminded me of an absolutely delightful young actress called Emma Wray - who had equal billing with Lisa.

Whatever happened to Emma? Is she still "on the box"?

Found on a web site:

"She was a major character in Stay Lucky (1989) with Dennis Waterman. Her last appearance on UK TV seems to have been as Donna in My Wonderful Life (1997)."

Seems her real name was Jill Wray..

Been away for a few days and come back to find nice, pleasant, responses - but no photos of Emma (Jill?).

And then depression set in!!

IFTB - actually, no, I'm one of those sad muppets that do read the credits (I used to work in television and it's amazing how your view of a programme changes when you know who made it).

Is this the same Emma Wray who is listed as a "vegetarian celebrity" and who presented some of the Gala Ball and Vegetarian Society Awards in 2001?
