Incidentally.....does it go all the way up to 99999 ft?

The chinease versions have an added decimal place. That actually reads 500.oo feet. You know how accurate the chinease are.

50000 - that's how many passengers they're carrying.


You know why all the writing is in English? Because if it was in Chinese, they'd have to fly the plane on its side :ugh:

I seem to remember being at 42,000 ft in a 747 once, however relaxants had been consumed so I might be incorrect.

Not with zero engine thrust and the gear down, no. ;)
