Is this payscale on Qantas accurate?

Does Qantas hire only Australians, or can Canadians and Americans apply?

Pay rates are about righ from what I can tellt. Work on 1100 hours per annum. Some fleets have more overtime than others so consider it a bonus. I think it's just Aussie residence that is required. ODTA and ADTA factored on top of that as are allowances (which we all spend of course!).
Try also the employment section of the Qantas web site (http://www.qantas.com.au/info/about/employment/pilots) for employment conditions. The entire award is available from www.wagenet.gov.au and do a search for AIPA.

We don't know yet. It will be a premium on the 744 rate but still open to negotiation on exactly how much.
Those hourly pay rates are correct but a little misleading. Just because you work an eleven hour day doesn't necessarily mean you get paid eleven hours for it... just ask any 767 driver...
