Wondering if anyone can help.

I am interested in working as cabin crew but have been told by a couple of people that I am not tall enough. I am 5 ft 1 barefoot.

1. Is the minimum height measured barefoot or with a small heal?

2. Do any of the airlines which operate smaller aircraft have different height restrictions? If so whcih ones?

Hope someone out there can shed some light on this.

There are a few airlines that don't have a height restriction so long as you can open / close the doors. I know this applies to Astraeus and also, as Air Wales operate small aircraft I think that they take people who are less than 5' 2". Some airlines also base it on handspan rather than height - I think Air New Zealand do.

When you are measured it would be without heels.
