The Summer Schedule is coming and BHX ATC are coming under increasing restrictions from MDi's, CTOTs, Coventry integration, the list goes on and on!

Has anyone noticed that crews are to remain on the Delivery frequency and REPORT READY ?

Confusing for some crews that have always changed freq of their own accord!

Seems like they are adopting what is std practice at most large UK airports.

Very similar to the way major airports :D do it. Presumably there a note in the AIS section about not changing freq? If so, it should be on the crew's ??Aerad??/Jepp plates.

Maybe that’s because Birmingham is a major airport, and not 2 portacabins and a farmers field?
(But like all major airports it is a building site :{ )

Well stick a zero rate on all BE traffic until the log jam has cleared, probably about 9ish, and then let em loose. That should help :ok:
