If westjet take this on they are taking on the well regarded Harmony with 757s and AC with 767s. I can't see either taking it lying down. Zoom and Transat won't like it much either. Would you prefer a 737 or a 763ER for your 7 hour flight?

WJ should get on with retiring the 732s and feeding from PEI's public trough. That website court case won't be long in coming round.

Just off-the-cuff remarks to the journo. I doubt WJ has any plans for transatlantic, although Hawaii may be a remote possibility now that Aloha pulled out of YVR. But I'm sure Clive would keep his cards close to his chest if he was serious, and not blurt it out to the competition.
