In case you are away from a fax machine, we've just received an alert fax from Turbomeca dated 26th April about an incident where an HP turbine blade let go on a 2F installed in an EC120. It was contained by the ring as designed.
They are asking you to ground certain engines that have a similar problem with the HP blade cooling. Engine numbers 34416 to 34450 are affected and 34033 and 34177.
No doubt you EC120 operators will get the same fax or email. Keep your fingers crossed that your engine is not on the list...
