Hi!

I am currently unemployed in aviation but have 3000h tt with 2650h multi engine turbine. I've received a prn from Cathay 5 months ago so I am in their file somewhere .

Do they really care if you are currently flying and can I even expect an interview while unemployed in aviation?

Thanks!

Well, after all shouldn't be a problem, but they will certainly ask you how long you haven't been flying.

Haven't flown since Nov. 2004. My license and ratings are all current and I will keep them that way job or no job.

I've been overseas for 5 years and just got back to Canada. So that means I missed out on 5 years of making friends in Canadian aviation.
