Word on the street is that FLYBE are planning to operate one of their 737's on the BHX-IOM route for the summer.

Anyone confirm or deny.

Surely complete madness. Flybe are doing well but not that well to be able to put a 130 seat aircraft on a historically thin route. Thye must have better things to do with a 73.

thats what i thought, hence i thought i would ask if anyone knew any more. Found out today that their handling agents at IOM are gearing themselves up for it's arrival. There may be some truth in it afterall.

Don't know if it's true, but you should never put FlyBE and common sense in the same sentence. They don't go together...

MaxReheat - the 737-300's in LCC operation usually have 148 seats so even more seats to fill!

Hi all,

BE will operate 190/1 on 737-300, on 27th April only. (as well as a double BHD and EGC rotation)
This is due to maintenance requirements and is in a similar vein to the flying that occured on 20th April, whereby 737-300 operated BHX-GLA rotation, and then BHX-TLS-BRS 'W' pattern.
