With the change over from the Winter to Summer timetable, BA have moved the MAN->JER flt to 06:50 dep and arriving in JER at 08:10, some passengers have been getting rightfully "miffed". Rumour going round is that this move is to lower passenger levels for the route and therefore drop certain days, if not cut the route completly. :(

Can anyone put any light onto the subject??

Perhaps the schedule change is to squeeze in another rotation elsewhere. I know we're talking about BACX here, but that would be some seriously messed up management if they were moving it in order to reduce passenger numbers.

I appologies, your quite right it is BACX. I believe that the MAN route to/from JER just hasn't been making enough money to make it cost effective to run.

Shame really... :\

MAN-JER schedules are not a great deal different from last year and it's always been seasonal traffic. Most of the time the extra flights are in there to facilitate getting the aircraft to JER for the Summer charter series.... but with an ever shrinking fleet, you run out of options...
