SLOK AIR

Hi everyone....

Anybody know anything about this airline recently have moved
basis from Nigeria to Gambia. Just the general things that
pilots tend to want to find out... what sort of flying they do
(hours/month), pay scale, this sort of thing. ... I hear they fly B.737 classics! any future plans for expansion. And what sort
of stability if there is any they are enjoying .....now they are in
Gambia! Feedback from the fellows that fly there will be well appreciated......thanx! pm me if required.

SLOK presently has six 737-200 in Banjul Gambia. Three are operated on daily basis covering the west coast of AFRICA. The other 3 are on standby for charters etc. Slok appears to be the dominant player in terms of cities covered and pax load on the west coast. The crews average 80-90 hrs flt time a month. Information gathered from friends working out there indicate a rather stable company. There are expansion plans which include B-767 for european and US destinations. Pay is in US DOLLARS. The exact figure am not so sure of.
