just wondering I have an old cabin crew uniform ( which went out 3 years ago, and been replaced with new one) Can I sell it? Thought some collector might be interested in it. Would I be commiting any offences?

the only offence that springs to mind are ones which may lead you to being arrested by the fashion police.

sorry i couldn't resist.

(cant give u a real answer sorry)

why is it an offence??? we were told at the time we could send them to a charity shop if we cut off labels. How can you back your statement?

I still got my old uniform just incase I need it for a fancy dress party :p !

Not sure about the offense bit...if the old style uniform would be still in use I would understand it but 3 yrs ago? Cant see the risk of a security issue neither

jettesen,

See also the thread about 'Stewardess Uniform Collection', PM Cliff to see if he has that uniform, and if not, there you go! An interested collector! :) Not sure if you can get much for it though, but it's all for future generations of F/A wannabes!! ;)

It is a offence because of the fact that a impersonator can wear the uniform at a airport not usually served by the xxxx airline, or a airport where the airline has ceased flying and the new uniform is not known about.
Just imagine a pilots uniform, I would hate anybody who is not a pilot keeping one in his house as a "souvenier". We are told to keep our uniforms under strict security and report any MISSING.

You should dispose of it in a normal manner!!!!

Its causes a unnessary risk!!!!!!!!!

true, but surely, you need an ID to get anywhere in an airport, so I can't understand why an old uniform is an offence. I couyld go to the shops and buy a pilots uniform - no questions asked

Ignore the drivel about "security risk". You need more than an old uniform to do anything, you need an ID and an Idea..... of what's going on. Neither in the above case.

As for your uniform, what size is it? Size 8??

I need a variety of FA uniforms for some videos I am making.

Please PM me with the amount you are asking.

WHO WANTS A OLD CABIN ATTENDANT UNIFORM Like I said.... I do.

I kinda need one of each of as many as possible. Once one's been used there isn't much point in it being seen again in another video as people tend to remember, especially the afficionados.

Size doesn't matter as long as they aren't hand-me-downs from someone who resigned on excess-weight reasons.

The more well-known the airline, the better.

Currently seekng KLM and Lufthansa, by the way. PM me....

£469. BUGGER. I knew i should have kept hold of my old f/a uniform. :{ :{
I kept it for 5 years but it was taking up space so i chucked it.
I've still got the hat though, do you think that would be worth anything without the rest????
