SCRIPT ERRORS with HP Director, HELP! PLEASE

HI Guys,

I've just paid £300 for a HP printer and cannot open the HP director.

I've called their help line but they are as much use as a chocolate fire guard.

Each time I attempt to open the director I get a script error.

I have,

1) Re-loaded the software
2) Turned off the fire wall
3) Downloaded Microsoft service pack 2
4) Downloaded Java update
5) Banged my head on a brick wall

Can anyone help?

Everything else works fine, it is just the HP director I cannot open.

It sems to be fairly common with hp printers:ugh:
