Any direct entry FO at easyjet, no 737 rating though. 5 years is quite a commitment though. How long to a command currently 4400hrs TT with 2000hrs light jet and 1000hrs turboprop.

Currently virtually all type rated F/Os are coming through TRSS. Command is based on 3000 "Factored" hours (details are on the website). Once on line you'll fly 700-900 hrs per year, so you'll make up any shortfall quickly, then some assesment rides and a Command Assesment sim. That puts you in the pool for upgrade. The company continues to expand at 15-25% a year, so it's still going to be one of the quickest upgrades around.

Further to Wizofoz, it is worth adding that numbers of aircraft based in the UK have pretty much stagnated now. Whether you end up on Airbus or the reducing 737 fleet time to command is slowly but surely getting longer and longer.
The majority of new commands will be on the Airbus in Europe as that is where the expansion is. Worth considering if you want to stay in the UK.

Shortest time to command at Britannia /Thomsonfly stands at about 9 monthhs on the 737 at present.Food for thought.
