Does anybody know of any aircraft museums/collections in the Bordeaux, France area. I am spending a few days there later in the year visiting some of my wife's friends and might need to escape for a bit. A google search did not disclose much but I may have missed something.

Thanks

Conservatoire de l'Air et de l'Espace d'Aquitaine (http://caea.free.fr/indexen.html) - troublesome admission conditions but seems interesting.

I sympathise. You could always sidle down to Biscarrosse - about 50 miles SW of Bordeaux. If you're going in May there's the seaplane meet (20-23) and the museum nearby - it's a bit short on complete frames but a very historic area.

Thanks.

Biscarosse looks worth a visit although sadly I wont be there when the seaplane meet is on.
