Pretty sure it was an A320 on a split load with Newcastle which came back via Riyadh I think?

It was definately an A320. Operated weekly via Newcastle and also had another stop en-route. It was operated for inspiration holidays and only lasted the one winter season.

It operated during the winter of '95. The flight would tech stop and refuel/crew change in Amman (Jordan), before continuing on to Bahrain and then Goa.

It was a great trip for the MAN crew that operated the flight - 15 days in total, with stopovers in LGW, Amman, Goa, Bombay and then Amman again.
The Bombay part was linked in with another flight that we operated to Travandrum from LGW.

Sweet memories!!
