Looking to do this on 14 May next - on a very restricted budget.

Any suggestions on the cheapest airline and routing? Birmingham would work also.

Any body flying out of Finningley yet? Humberside?

Is this a single or return trip?

BMI will probably do a decent single ticket to LHR.
BA serve both LHR, BHX and MAN but may cost a little.
EZY/FR don't go to VIE.
Nor does Jet2.
Austrian Airways go direct to LHR.
You could always fly to LON and get a connecting flight to MAN with BD or BA.
FlyNiki go to STN.
No-one goes to LGW.

Try thinking laterally. Bratislava (the capital of Slovakia) is only about 45 miles from Vienna.

From there, easyJet fly to Luton, which is 35 miles north of London and is well connected by train or bus.

Sidetrip (not company funded) so paying outa my own pocket. And one way only - but amazingly (as you're probably aware) many return trips are cheaper than one way (so you buy the return ticket and don't utilize the second bit).
