Qantas has been contracting(shrinking)yet they are still employing CC on contracts.Flying hours are decreasing.Many crew are on accelerated leave.Come july Howard has control over both houses.Unfair dismissal will almost be none existent.There is nothing to stop Qantas from retrenching whoever it wishes with as little as a 3 month salary payout.The "firesisde" chats are designed to identify those who are resistent to change.Come the new financial year a number of CC may find themselves on the end of a dole Q.You don't agree?..Think about what has been going on over the last few months and look at the new Pattern Book(pamphlet).
