It is alleged by a number of posters that members of the ALEA and AIPA executives are, or have in the past, received benefits in one form or another from employers in return for "selling out" their membership in labor negotiations.

Is there any evidence for these assertions and if there is, why don't you take them to the authorities?

Furthermore, if an employer engages in such behaviour, isn't it illegal? I thought secret commissions, payments and "favors" are illegal whether they relate to labor relations or not.

Because if you read the rules and constitution it actually says that the executive is the supreme power of the ALAEA and can change the rules if they see fit.
Don't you love a democracy that is answerable to the members?
