Hello,
I would like to know how many of you have found a job as a pilot after their type rating.
Please do not tell me you know a friend, etc,... (I know many friends who have job, who do not have jobs).Speak about your self.
my flight time is around 2500h total(JAA frozen ATPL+MCC A320) with some turbine. And I am thinking to do a type on the airbus.
I can see that airlines are not ready to spend money to pay me a type rating, and they are not ready to sign a contract....
what is the best, A JAA type rating or a US FAA type rating (I own both license). the FAA type rating costs around 13000$ when the JAA type rating costs around 22000 Euros.
I am against the idea to pay my own type, but time have changed!
