Couple more points there Riho (Lyrics 1 song, Lyric 23, trivia 20), and for you Banana (all but GOTW 10). Original post has been edited again.

Banana - in a word - BRILLIANT!

There are only 3 in the group now, Hayward, Lodge and Edge.

They started with "Lovely To See You Again", then did a raft of the better known songs, ibcluding "The Actor". On stage for 50 mins, then a 20 miute Intermission. After the intermission, a bonus, as Justin Hayward did "Forever Autumn", back by himself on guitar and two guys on Synthesisers (spelling? lol) then another hour, including "Isn't Life Stange".

Show ended with "I'm Just A Singer In A Rock and Roll Band", "Nights in White Satin" and "Question", and the Encore (to the standing ovation - in a reasonably small theatre I must say) was "Ride MY See Saw".

Absolutely brilliant!!! :ok: :ok: :ok: :ok:

Well, being a closet c&w fan...

L12...Where I Come From/Alan Jackson
L15...Great Day To Be Alive/Travis Tritt
L19...I Just Fall In Love Again/Anne Murray

I have a good friend who used to have a bar band back in the '60's. They were from the Maritimes, and would play college dates, winter carnivals etc. anything that paid or offered free beer. One gig they did was at the winter carnival at St. FX University in Antigonish NS. The head of the student union had fixed Eddy up with a blind date, a cute chick who could sing pretty good, he said. Ed told him never mind, he was going to get pissed after the concert anyway. The next morning, he asked the guy who the girl was. Anne Murray. :{

13th Apr 2005, 14:24

T16..(Jumps up and down and waves arm)..ghost from a wishing well from the song If You Could Read My Mind. Thank you Cooda. :D

I had "ghost of Cape Horn" from the album East Of Midnight, but I knew that couldn't be it.

Re next week, ok by me if you want to do it. That'll give me more time to think up some new trivia. We'll have to figure out a bit of a schedule soon. I'm going to be away for two weeks around either the last week of May and the first week of June, or the first two weeks of June. How does that work with your sched?

14th Apr 2005, 02:25
OK, I CAN'T do (at this stage) 9 or 16 May, 18 or 25 Jul, 24 or 31 Oct. Probably have to add in there Aug 1, 8 and 15 (Vietnam/SE Asia - big trip) - but these to be confirmed.

Otherwise, more will come up, just not visible yet. So late May early June not a problem for me.

FYI (For your consideration)......:ok:

14th Apr 2005, 06:53

See you next week.......:ok: :E :uhoh: :hmm:

14th Apr 2005, 22:49
I'm ok with those dates scran. It looks like I'll be unable the 5th and 12th of June - that would be your 6th and 13th now, wouldn't it. :O

My late May/early June dates were up in the air a bit because one of the ferries I have to take on pigboat's excellent adventure could be disrupted by Arctic ice around that time. It's happened before. :uhoh:
