Two fighter planes have intercepted a suspect plane over Rome which contravined a no-fly zone.

The Italian Air Force has confirmed an executive jet was forced to to land near Rome.

The plane was escorted by two F-16 fighters to a military base after entering a no-fly zone imposed for the funeral.

The Lear Jet 131 aircraft which was heading toward Rome's second airport Ciampino and had flown from Belgrade.

The Italian ANSA news agency had quoted intelligence sources as saying there were fears that a bomb might have been on board the plane.

It later said no bomb was found.

Unlike Rome's main Fiumicino airport, Ciampino has been closed to commercial traffic amid a security clampdown in and around Rome for world leaders attending the funeral.

A no-flight zone covering a radius of about 75 miles around Rome up to a height of about 21,500 feet was imposed for the pope's funeral.

Naaaahhhhh. with those dimensions, that's at least 2 Hutts and a pretty luxurious outhouse as well:E :E
