Hi,
I'm off to start EFT's APP in September, and have a couple of questions. I have a housing association flat here in the UK and live with my girlfriend. My girlfriend is on a fairly low income and we will struggle to pay all the bills here and out in Floriday. Does anyone have any experience with any housing benefits you can claim whilst completing flying training, I am mainly thinking in reference to my return to do the ATPL in the UK for 8 odd months with Bristol. We are going to struggle during this 8 months as I will have no or little income, and don't think you can get a university style students loan during this period. I am pretty much borrowed to the max as it is for the flying. I feel that a bit of help wouldn't be too unethical, as with any luck I will be paying back tax etc in full when I am in full time work!
