I am most humbly honoured.

I thank you all most sincerely for your nominations.

My award will also make for a nice birthday present tomorrow.

And now the inevitable joke !

A Labour Party spin doctor is run over by a bus and finds himself at the Pearly Gates.

The spin doctor is taken inside Heaven by St. Peter and given a guided tour.

He's led into one huge room that is full of millions of clocks, and he notices a clock with his name on it that has stopped.

St. Peter explains that everyone has a clock that counts down the seconds of their life, and when someone dies, their clock stops.

All this fascinates the spin doctor but when he examines all of the other clocks, he notices that some of the clocks' second hands are moving faster than others.

St. Peter explains that every time someone tells a lie, which is a sin, they lose part of their life, so their clock's second hand ends up moving faster.

The Labour Party spin doctor looks around but doesn't see Tony Bliar's clock, so he asks St. Peter where it is.

"Oh," answers St. Peter, "that's being used as a ceiling fan."

Once again thank you all.

Best regards

4th Apr 2005, 06:41
You should be speecless Pigboat - you were nominated to the hall of fame TWICE......:uhoh: :uhoh: :hmm:

4th Apr 2005, 06:44
What [email protected] finalised that list??? :ouch:

14th Apr 2005, 12:21
I don't know what to say, don't know whether I'm more surprised, embarassed or confused, probably a mixture of the three, must have been a small poll.

Well it gave me a good laugh first thing in the morning in the office so that must be some achievement. :ok:

Omaha for a truly impressive record in failing to disguise herself
Maybe if I become a heavy drinking, heavy smoking, heavy cussing (maybe I'm that already :\ , bed hopping woman I might become less indistinguishable :uhoh:

Coconuts / Fester / Omaha
You've forgotten my other alter aliases, even I'm losing track of them now but wasn't there, Sierra, Celtic Emerald for starters. Didn't think many of you copped 'Omaha' that quick. Of course there may be one or two others but that would be telling you now, wouldn't it. :E

Thanks to everyone who voted for me & what on earth is an "inductee"?

14th Apr 2005, 12:27
You should be speecless Pigboat - you were nominated to the hall of fame TWICE..... at least he didn't nominate himself twice :hmm:

It’s Resurrection Day.

And I’d like to, belatedly, thank all my supporters and my fans for this great honour. I know the title of “Worst” was actually awarded to One Ball but as I could no longer think of any variations on that name, I had to come up with something else and thus the Scrubbed family of IDs was born.

Speaking of awards, may I suggest the inclusion, next year, of a prize for most bannings/reincarnations?

I know we were told there are no points for "announcing one's departure" but I recently announced the retirement of scrubbed, scrubbbed, scrubed, sscrubbed, sscrubbedd, scruubed, scrub, one ball, one-ball, one ball slappin, OneBallBouncesBack, Cornholeeo, cornholeyo, Cornholio, cornholyo, cornholyoh, Cornhulio, Cornjulio, kornholio and kornholiyo and all the rest from PPRUNE on D&G the other day but had some final details to attend to over here on JB before I leave.

This is no mere Binos-style confidence-meltdown or middle-age crisis but I’m not ruling out the possibility of a Davaar-style comeback later on either, if my public demand it as his did.

I know you don’t care but I really like the sound of my own voice and the sight of my own type and here you are reading it to see what I have to say when you could’ve easily ignored it, SO one last time…….

I'm confused, have I been forced into retirement OR have more work to do than ever before?
