Hi all,
back in the late 70´s (definetely past june ´77) a Spantax Convair CV-990 performed a belly landing on 34R at CGN. Probably just forgot to lower the gear !?
I remember it beeing parked at CGN for some time.
A google search did not help me further, neither did the search of the webpages of german and spanish air accident investigators or the usual databases.
Does anyone have more information or some pictures of the event and the plane? Was it repaired or scrapped? (none of the Spantax Convairs is listed as scrapped outside PMI)
