I have heard that Excel are to get a 747-200 from Air Atlanta and it will be painted in Excel colurs and will operate out of Brize Norton for the MOD.
My question is who will be crewing it, Excel crew or AAE Crew as I was told the MOD contract was awarded to AAE and thus crewed by them, but if the 747 is being repainted Im not sure.
Also Ive been told the two comapnies will merge later this year, I realise they are owned by the same company, so what will happean to the AAE crew who now only do long haul, will they have to operate short hail Excel routes.
If anyone has any info I would really appeciate it.
