Sorry to re-post these but I have had to move some pictures around in photobucket and I think some of the image address URL things went missing.

I took them at the Families day at RAF Coltishall on the 12th March '05, cetebrating the disbanding or 16Sqn and 54Sqn. I hope you enjoy them and apologies if you find yourself looking at them again!!!

What's the significance of the P-51?? Did 16 or 54 operate them during WWII??

According to their respective histories neither Squadron operated the P51 at any time.

From memory neither Squadron operated the P-51 but then neither squadron has operated the Sea Harrier, Eurofighter Typhoon or Sea King!!!

It is just a selection of pictures from the day, The Mustang put on a really nice display and I had not seen that particular Mustang before so I thought I'd include it!
