Can anyone confirm that Flightline based in Southend are to commence more charter operations with to former Spanair MD83 a/c are which are in storage at Southend? I believe this has been a plan of action for Flightline for some time but there are problems getting the a/c on the UK register? Can anyone shed any light on these plans and when are the a/c going to become operational?

One of the two former Spanair MD-83's departed on 30/11/04 (EC-FXI r/r N320FV) leaving only EC-GQZ at EGMC.

Although two MD-83 TF-JXA/TF-JXB of JetX, have been in there earlier last month I believe.

MD-83s scattered around various Canadian airports if they are wanted!

From what I've heard, Flightline have bought JETX along with the 2 MD-83's TF-JXA and TF-JXB to supplement their ever growing 146 fleet.....
