Thought it might be useful to compile a file of what each airline is currently doing regarding bonding/ charging for type rating. I have seen a few threads mentioning individual airlines requirements, but not seen it collated anywhere.
So, if you have just joined an airline and/ or have CURRENT bond details, how about posting a reply with the following details;
Airline Name
Position arrangement applies to (F/O, S/O, Captain)
Bond or payment required
Period of Bond or re-payment plan
How repaid (via salary deduction, bank loan, or like a traditional bond by working the specified period)
Any other relevant details
I am sure many Wannabes will find this info useful. Apologies if it all appears somewhere else!
