I wonder if anyone can enlighten me on something.

After reading through the Jepp recently, I read that SA subscribe to JAR-OPS, as do Namibia and Pakistan, and therefore print on the side of the approach plates JAR-OPs.

What does this actually mean, does SA subscribe to all JAR-OPS, or is it only relevant to landing and take-off minima?

Anyone know anything about this?

Hi South Coast, how are you? Still flying in the sand? Did you make your trip to Cuba?
The Jar ops thing on jepsen is for Jar ops Operator (commercial aviation) that operates in those airport and want to check wich minimas aplly to them when landing/taking off from there!
That doesn't mean that if you fly to one of those airport and use those minima you could count that experience as Jar OPS exp.
Good luck and Good Flying
