Specialist tour operator, The Gambia Experience will offer flights from Nottingham East Midlands Airport for Winter 2005/06 - the first time flights to the West African country have been available from the Midlands.

The daytime flights will operate every Friday during the winter season, November to April, with Astraeus Airlines.

This is good news for EMA and hopefully a new Canada flight and we would be laughing

Regards

A 737-700 load to Gambia will hardly stretch the infrastructure will it?

True but it seems any major new development is 2-3 years away from opening, and when most people agree the present terminal is struggling to cope now  It seems to me MAG is intent on attracting new growth and THEN building the required infrastructure to match!

Yes, Canada 3000 used to operate a 757 from EMA to YYZ. Not sure how successful it was, maybe someone can shed some light on that?
