Hi all. I am sure I heard a while ago that most tall buildings in London are numbered. One in particular, the squarish looking one near that newish phallic looking one, is called "52" or something like that.

Can anyone shed any light on this for me please?

Hi BRL, you are thinking of Tower 42, which was once called the Natwest tower.

Numbered 42 because it has 42 stories (although I didn't know that until I just looked on the link!)

Yea thats the one, cheers mate!!

I think it used to have the number shining on the top bit but now there is just weird green light instead. Sure it used to be a number up there.

I have also heard that the entire top floor is the office of the woman in charge of the bank.
