View Full Version : Details of Libyan Oil field strip FOX-3
Am in the process of transferring my old log book to an electronic version and came across Fox-3
I have no other information on this airfield other than it was a short sand strip near the large circular irrigation projects and was west of Sarir NW & HLSA Sarir
Any help would be appreciated

You'll find there are a lot of airports in Libya without an IATA or ICAO designator. I've been to a few of them and just used it's airport name in my own logbook and the aircraft techlog. Also see this: http://www.aircraft-charter-world.com/airports/africa/libya.htm

Write down ZZZZ and then specify the name of the place in the last box, taht's the way i do it when i go to an AD with no ICAO code.
I don't know if you can put ZZZZ in this electronic sort of logbook thoug.
