Patrick announce to ASX “Relevant interest in Virgin Blue now 49.03%” This now brings the voting power of Plzen (aka Patrick) to 74.13%

Looks like Bretts head is about to roll! :ok: Wonder if he will ump now or stick around for the next profit downgrade.

Maybe we will soon a have a real choice again when flying J. :O
Just hope he takes the "flair" rubbsih with him.:yuk:

I think you need to have a look at the ASX rules again.

Patricks need to achieve 90% as the ASX has ruled that the link between Branson and Patricks does not count as it is a hostile takeover bid.

Even if Patricks do take control and get rid of Godfrey, I'm sure Richard Branson will find somewhere else for him in his empire.

If he does go to the USA he can be assured of one thing - they will simply not put up with his whinging/whining and underdog insinuations and media forays that he has here.
