Nice shots

I trust you enjoyed playing with your new toy.

Thanks, Nick. Yes I did.

However, it's highlighted a surprising amount of peripheral distortion on my 17-40 lens that wasn't visible on my 10D. It's a very nice toy though.

Nice shots Rob. What's the new toy? 20D, or something a bit more expensive?

Thanks, Dan.

I didn't think that the 20D offered a great deal more than my 10D and since it was bonus time I opted for an ex-demo 1D mk2. It's a complicated beast and I'm going to need a bit of practice with it. It's been a long time since the end of last year's airshow season and I'm very rusty.

The touch is still there though Rob. Nice job. There is something that tingles the spine a little seeing a Lancaster, at night, with light shining on it. Magical!

Looking forward to you and Nick at Shuttleworth. Trying to make it for the first one.

Thanks for the kind words PPP, I'm looking forward to another good Shuttleworth season. The last one was pretty special for me.

And what's more, it's forty years ago on 13 May that she arrived at Biggin Hill from Bankstown.
