Easy one this week.............

1. Questions posted on Monday (my time). Answers posted whenever I feel like it.
2. 2 points for each Lyrics question – 1 point for the Title and 1 point for the artist. Trivia questions normally 1 point. Some trivia questions will ask for additional information, which is worth 1 point. Bonus points may be awarded additional relevant information (at my discretion). Artist/Album/Song of the week 1 point unless advised otherwise.
3. There is no Rule 3
4. Judge's decision final.
5. During the first 24 hours from the quiz being posted
you are allowed ONLY ONE POST (containing answers to as many questions as you like).
Additional posts (within the first 24 hours) will be ignored.
Edited posts (within the first 24 hours) will be disqualified.
Complete answers will take precedence over earlier partial answers

Right - first post editied.

Now, before you all get upset, seeing the Theme of the week Lyrics questions come from particular albums (I can say that now that Mr Chips has answered one) I want the artist from that album as the answer to that question.

Richo - your comment about the theme for the Drew Carey show was going to be a question, so take a bonus point.

Nwaflygirl - wasn't meant like that...whenevr will be fine...:ok: and if you can get Set 1 Lyric b, d and g....why not i???

Progress scores

Mr CHips - 18
Nwaflygirl - 18
Pigboat - 8
Bentbanana - 7
Richo - 5 (gave you another)

Did people really find this to hard? :uhoh: :uhoh:

Tried the new format to "jazz" it up a bit and try to make it a lttle more interesting/challenging.

If people don't like it...will go back to the "old" style....

This is a bit of a one-off...next week I'm doing the quiz again and it will be more of a "normal" style....:hmm:

14th Mar 2005, 20:45
Thanks Scran,

Personally, i liked the quiz. It looked a tad imposing at first, but once i got my brain workin i liked it.

Mr Chips
14th Mar 2005, 22:29
Scran - I think its a goodie.. but then you did pick one of my favourite films as a theme! (was it obvious that I knew the film? ;) )

Drawing with NWAFlygirl! how cool am I? (yeah, i know it won't last, but I'll enjoy it while I can)

14th Mar 2005, 22:36
Mr Chips....are you a new player here?

Don't you realise that Munchkins (you know her as Nwaflygirl) and I are very close, and that my Munchkins automatically gets 50 bonus points when she calls me Big Daddy (and it will become 100 as soon as she sends me the long cool woman in a black dress pic of her.....:E :E :E ).

So there is no way you can win against her......just ask Binos..:uhoh: :uhoh: :uhoh: :ok:

Hey Munchkins......you up to the challenge of answering Set 1 i?? :hmm:

Hah!! Old?? Who you callin' old? :D

Anybody heard from Cooda? Hope he's ok. There was a tropical cyclone, Irene?? hanging around the top end on the weekend, winds up to 240 kms/hr. I believe Darwin took a licking.

15th Mar 2005, 02:11
Have not heard from him, but Darwin is ok.

The storm ran across the Tiwi Islands about 100km north of Darwin. Would have been very windy/wet, but they did a live cross to the news guy in Darwin last night and it was bright and sunny!!!!!

Now listen everyone - Set 1 song 9 is Hard Rain's Are Gonna Fall, and song 11 is express yourself - who does those songs on this particular Album?

That, my dear Holmes, is the question....:hmm:

And far be it from me to infer that you are old ...Studmuffin....:ok:

15th Mar 2005, 03:23
Hi all

Cyclone Ingrid's come and, hopefully, gone without any noticeable meteorological effect on Darwin; although the islands across the north coast have copped a battering.

One guy on Croker Island sat it out in his car and reported the car moved 300m in the five hours the cyclone took to pass.

Just as well Darwin missed out 'cos I got hit by the flu bug on Sunday night and would have been useless in a crisis ......................can't even get my mind around the music quiz at the moment :{

While I'm here: (Old Habits Die Hard :E)
