Does anyone have any info on the payscales at Flyglobespan?

I'm interested in FO/Captain scales and also any benefits/pensions etc.

Also what is a typical months roster like?

Don't realy know specific's but not much as of secondary/benefits. they are working on it though. Check with Wynnwith for payscales.

work is good, not too much food on the flights though.... (i haven't descided if that is good or bad, weight wise) cabincrew's a bit distant, not much of a "after work relation" going on. One day i found that the crew had left the A/C without even telling the flight deck(me&him) so that was a bad action.

New A/C comming online with good prospects for future.

You can always PM me..

Thanks for the info. A couple of questions....

Are you employed through an agency or through Flyglobespan?

If you're employed through Flyglobespan do they have a pension? If so what is the company contribution?

Are you GLA or EDI based or dual based?

Farmflyer: yes talk to Wynnwith, speak to Marc Morrell

Scotty; non of those nice things yet, i think they are working on a package. I am on contract. and it's single base only. so far the NG are going to be based in GLA and the Classics in EDI.

despegue; i heard something like that.... run for cover.... when are you starting? Newcastle wasn't it? or are you based EDI? we'll have a pintje soon. I have a nice app on the coast in Largs. small but nice. you are welkom to come over and stay, Talk to you later.

I thought I would try to resurrect the original question as I am also keen to find out what pay is like for new First Officers.

Can anyone tell me the starting pay and the expected rise over the years? I am interested in the directly employed rather than those on contracts through agencies.

Is there a structured payscale or is it negotiable?

Thank you.

Hi Scottie,

I am contract F.O with Globespan, through Wynnwith. I am on £45,000 PA, if I go over 85 hours in one month I receive 1-85th, per hour, of my monthly salary which equates to about £45 per hour. The Pilots that are employed by Globespan are on £37,000 PA + sector pay (£2.10 per hour, I think). The company is ok, nice people and the flying is good.

Regards
