Mexican will receive soon two new airplanes to its fleet. These new airplanes will be Airbus A-321. The rumors say that an unknown company postponed the delivery of these two airplanes and Airbus offered them to Mexicana. If this becomes reality, Mexicana will be the firs airline over the American continent to operate the whole single-aisle family of Airbus.

Some other rumors said that Mexicana is searching for an Airbus A-330 or maybe an A-340 in order to substitute the Boeing B-767-300ER currently on service.

These are great news for Mexicana, which is, obviously the best airline over Mexican skies. Lets hope that everything goes well with the upcoming sell !!!!!

In similar news, Mexicana announced that they are undergoing a rebranding. New uniforms, new paint on the airplanes.

There is a posting on the Latin American Aviation Historical Society (http://www.laahs.com) forum. Look for the post titled "MEXICANA DE AVIACION PRESENTA NUEVA IMAGEN CORPORATIVA" for a look at the new livery.
