ITV West was scheduled to show the first in a six part series about FAA squadrons from Yeovilton tonight, but binned it without explanation. Anybody know why? Or does the light blue mafia have the same inordinate influence over TV schedules as it does over defence policy?

I know why; apparently the ITV Schedulers felt that they had too many independent films being shown as they approached the end of the financial year, and their accounting weasels dictated that it should be shown in the next financial year. I understand that it is probably going to be shown in August.
