g'day g'day,

Got my New Zealand CPL and am currently converting to UK JAA fATPL. doen the first 8 exams and realy happy with the results and now studying towards the last 6 - so all's going well.

Now I know that the employment situation still isn't quite how we would all like it (although it seems to be getting better all the time...Sweet!), but I was just wondering, what about all the bottom of the ladder jobs like skydive piloting and all that? You know just something basic for raw hours anywhere in europe.

Does anyone know the situation, requirements, availability, where to go? anything and more importantly has anyone done this?

cheers and catch you later

Most skydive clubs take on pre-CPL pilots who want to build hours for free, so they won't pay you anything. If you are interested I know of one:

give them a cal and ask to speak to Lyn George, he's the chief pilot.

Good luck!:ok:

Does anyone know by any chance a paraclub operating a twin otter, or a skyvan?

thanx

If you have a New Zealand CPL then give the North West Parachute centre at Cark a call. They have an NZ registered XL750 turbine single, and when I spoke to them about a month ago they couldn't find enough pilots with NZ licences to fly it!
