What is the route network on the Gulf Air 767 operating
from Bahrein ?
Are there long stop overs or merely 24 hr. ones ?
And are there also routes which are flown with a return on the same day ?

Thanks in advance,

Cheers.

The dinosaur mostly operates to S. Asia (sub-continent) from AUH under the "GT" (Gulf Traveler) badge, however quite a few flights from BAH too.

Do a search of flights GF operates and check the equipment on the flight. Google it or use the search feature here.

Wherever the flight goes to, you will be working quite a bit (if that is where you are headed with your enquiry).

As for learning about the destinations before you operate to them, doesn't it go something like: Destination - ~200 NM...check the ATIS, pull out the plates, look at the said plate for the 1,000,000th time, look at your partner-in-crime, and say "Any questions??"! ;) :p ;) ...then at shut-down +30 mins high-tail it as fast as you can for a "debrief" or two...

Have fun in the sandy sun.

As far as the routes are concerned even the pilots don't know where they are going until the day before. Heard all flights will soon originate from Bahrain only the destinations are still in the "air" so to speak. Good luck:cool:

I have recently seen a GF 767 in Cairo, operating a service to and from Bahrain. Not sure if it was a regular thing, or possibly a one-off.

Any time I have flown to cairo on GF, it has always been Airbus equipment (330 / 320).

Sorry can't be of any more help than that.

All the hype in the local Midland press regarding GF operating to BHX from BAH as Gulf Traveller.

What happened there? and will they 'relaunch' again at anytime?

Poor old BHX has had its fair share of non-starters and let downs over the past 18 months.
