For a good example of the effects of a group of people acting together against a common threat just take a look at the French haulage industry/farmers/fishermen/taxi drivers actions at petrol refineries.
Basically they're blockading them in protest against soaring petrol prices (US$5.50 per gallon in UK although less in France).
Most petrol stations have run out of fuel within 2 days and the Unions are now in crisis talks with Government - ALL IN TWO DAYS !!
Relevance to us??
We started CC TWO MONTHS ago. It hasn't worked so why don't we UNITE and do something that gets Mr Hughes-Hallett frowning instead of smirking.
