Gulf Air and Gulf Traveller Drops Services

Gulf Air and Gulf Traveller are to drop services to CMN and CMB from the end of March, citing poor load factors on the routes.

Not surprising, since EK and QR have a real good hold on CMB in particular, with QR now operating twice daily services to Colombo.

Not to mention some extrememely low ticket prices if one uses EY...not to put too fine a point on it, it's predatory in scope but that's the nature of the beast. GF is simply re-allocating it's assets on other routes. (Watch This Space) Many are kinda panicky, but lots of good stuff still on the go wrt new routes.
