Hiya, was a pax at Exeter the other day and noticed a few aircraft on the far end on the aerodrome. Looked like Bae 146's to me. One appeared to have a BA livery, the others all white.

Are they stored, awaiting scrap?

Cheers

Dan

Most of the 146/Avro RJs are stored with the intention of being returned to service. Two of the former Azzurra Air machines are going to Euromanx - one is parked northside in Euromanx colours. Another has been delivered to the Bahrein Defence Force. Some have been parked so long that I think that scrapping may be the only option though!

That storage area is also used by Flybe engineering to park aircraft that are awaiting collection by their operator after maintenance.

Sorry, but SEN is the proud owner of three B-reg 146's and they are much older than any of yours. They are still for sale one has moved postion and is reputed to be converted into a water bomber destination Canada.
