It's that Ebay thing again... where do they get this stuff from I wonder.

BINAs etc for sale (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=4531287556&category=63678)

Previously sold Flying gloves, helmet bag, strike rule etc..

Yeah, I know... how bored must I be to be trawling Ebay, but with the computer in front of me and the thought of re-attacking my ISS, Ebay won:)

There're no flying gloves here at all right now. A mate tried flying with some two sizes too big and ended up kicking his pin around the floor rather than putting it where it should be....! Where are they all?

A long long time ago at an airfield in Devon we used to keep all the out of date docs and charts etc and sell them at Station Open days. :ok:

...used to do the same at Doncaster International Aerodrome. Amazing what people bought and how much they would pay for it.

Not that I'd like to accuse anyone of anything, but I suspect similar with the link below:

50k of Perth, and HLS etc.... someone at Leu maybe? His feedback shows he's sold plenty of maps before. But then again, he may have just bought it all from AIDU!

I guess he's receiving stolen goods. All his previously sold OS maps seem to be military editions and he has sold other 1 AIDU items in the past, looking at his eBay history.

Someone might wish to aim Plod at this eBay seller?

...old soldier story...

While at (RAF) Upavon, I was MT rep for our 10 Army Landrovers. Due to a supply error, they had the wrong tyres fitted. No idea why, these were the first 110 Rovers. They all had their engines changed too. All tyres had plenty of life, but were dangerous on the vehicle. So, I demanded 50 new Landrover tyres of the correct type. Couple of weeks later, they turned up, and I got them fitted. A one for one exchange.

Imagine my surprise when Billy Snowdrop acting unpaid Cpl comes and gives me the third degree about why I had ordered 50 tyres, and strangely enough, same quantity of used tyres for sale at Salisbury market!!!

Turns out civvy stacker was on the take. Caused a few twitches on my behalf though!

Oh - and why does a book of 3 x 25 cent stamps cost $1.00 here?

From the title I thought Mr Tonkenna was complaining about medical treatment in the Armed Forces.
